How To Rebrand

The best thing about being you, is that you're not really stuck as one version of yourself. You don't have to change yourself to your very core in order to emulate your best energy. That being said, figuring out who you even are tends to be the hardest part.

  1. The First Look

Rebranding starts with the obvious, your mirror. Take a look at who you are right now and who you want to be. What you wear, how you talk, and what people first think when they get to know you all form an impression. It helps to have a sense of what you're drawn to, even if it changes later, so a mood board never hurts.

  1. Highlight your Beauty

This is where things get fun, makeover time. Everyone has a phase of experimenting with new looks until something clicks. Some looks may be great, and some will absolutely not be, but that's the point. Take inspiration where you find it. The main character in your favorite tv show, celebrities, that one girl on Pinterest who always has the perfect outfit. Confidence ausually shows up later anyway, unexpected.

  1. Pose with Poise

You're not a character, so don't act like one. Confidence reads better when it doesn't feel performed. Start to notice what you like, who you feel good around, and how you naturally show up. It's rarely as complicated as people make it sound, just know the environment that makes you feel like you.

  1. The Curtain Doesn't Close

Rebranding isn't a one time thing, you'll find new looks to love, new makeup to try, and new music to listen to. Your idea of confidence will change and you have to give yourself room to grow with it. It doesn't need to be figured out all at once.

People tend to make it sound like reinvention is this big moment, when in reality it's just small changes that add up to the girl you've always been.
